The Suntura Dual Axis Solar Tracker Kit can be used directly on 12 volt or 24 volt systems. If you plan on using it on a grid tie system, you have two options: (1) You can use a small 12 volt power supply to get 12 VDC from the grid which can be used to power the tracking system. These are inexpensive and readily available. (2) You can use a small 12/24 volt battery to power the tracker which can be automatically recharged from the grid when it is low.
